Getting Started with SAS
1. Register for Accommodations
- Complete the online AIM application.
- Email your diagnoses documentation to accessibility@okstate.edu or upload it to your AIM system profile.
- We can accept a dated letter from a professional, a copy of evaluation, or a copy of the 504/IEP plan (if applicable) that clearly states your diagnoses.
2. Complete an Intake Appointment
- Read and sign the Student Responsibility Form you receive after you submit your AIM application.
- Email the completed Student Respsonsibility Form to SAS at accessibility@okstate.edu.
- A SAS Intake Specialist will contact you to schedule an intake meeting.
- Attend your intake meeting to discuss appropriate accommodations.
3. Request Your Accommodation Letter
- Request your Accommodation Letters through the AIM system.

- Talk with your professor about how your accommodations will be implemented in their
class.
- Feel free to download and use our Academic Accommodation Email Template
- If you decide to speak with your professors in person, we recommend following your conversations with a detailed email confirming the agreed-upon accommodation details.
